There is no official formula. This recipe reflects the ingredients of some of the best experts. It fills a 4 ounce spice jar.

Make   -   (8 min)
  1. In a spice grinder or Mixie, grind all ingredients very fine
  2. In an airtight jar kept away from heat and light, this powder will be good for at least 3 months, or put up in salt shakers for table use.
NOTES:
  1. Chili Powder:

    The cayenne pepper is for hotness, the chili powder can be selected to add flavor or more hotness. Aleppo Mild will add only flavor, but at least one prominent writer adds 1 t Ghost Pepper which adds quite a bit more hotness. There are plenty of choices all the way between.
