Cop and Crystal
Several dreams this morning, but only the first of these was remembered.
Begin: In this dream I had been accosted by a police officer on charges of fraud from using crystals in healing. An informal hearing was held on the subject which was a rather unusual event in that it was not a court hearing, but a police hearing held by the accusing officer. There were others involved, at least one woman sitting to my left and one or two others. with the officer sitting across the table from us.
I had with me a quartz crystal of about a pound weight, which I used as a prop. I explained there was no fraud involved, that what we did was only to supplement normal treatment and that no claims had been made. I explained that no-one knew what the crystals did, but that we described them as an aid to whatever was being done. Whether the crystals did anything themselves, or if they just concentrated the attention of the healer, or acted as a placebo, we did not know. We only felt the results were better with them. The officer took the crystal I had brought and examined it, remaining skeptical and accusative, until one moment he suddenly got up, turned his back and walked slowly away, abandoning the whole proceeding.
Some time had passed, perhaps a day or two with no action, but the
officer still had my crystal. Wishing to recover this, I went to his house
and knocked on the kitchen door. This was answered by his wife, and he
himself came out and handed me the crystal. His wife remained standing in
the doorway. He acted very friendly now and gave me also a large amethyst
crystal nearly 2 inches long and an inch across as a gift. I could see
through the window he had been an amateur rock collector as there were samples
on one of the window ledges. I wondered what it was that had caused this
change in attitude.
