Runaway Princess
At 2:00am I was wide awake so I sat down at the computer and wrote a couple of pages of the novel I was writing, Mad Hilda. I returned to sleep at about 4:00am and had this dream. It reminded me a bit of my novel, but it dealt with a rebellious princess, not a prince. It is not remembered in much detail.
Begin: The scene opens in a castle, rather primitive and in the Norman style, quite vertical and tall. It was built very close to a small lake. The princess ran off in the night with the magician to a forest cottage. She was searched for when missed some time later. There were other upheavals as well, including possibly an attack on the castle by barbarians, but this is all rather vague.
