Injured while Peeling
This dream sequence is very short. I was peeling a vegetable or fruit
with a paring knife. It slipped through the item and stabbed me in the
third joint (third from the tip) of my left hand index finger. The stab
was not at all severe and I kept on working.
End.
Upon waking up in the morning, I felt a small pain at the exact point where the point of the knife in the dream had hit. On examination, there was a tiny hole punched through the skin. It does not seem reasonable that the knife in the dream could do physical damage in the waking world, but it is interesting that the dream apparently featured this tiny wound that I was completely unaware of in the waking world. The pain was gone before the end of the day, and the wound was not visible the next day.
