A really delicious and versatile salad you can make with Artificial or Real Crab Meat, and Serve various ways. A good party salad.

Crab Meat (1)  
Onion, red
Celery
Cucumber (2)
Lemon Juice
Mayonnaise
Salt
Pepper
Dill

Make   -   (30 min + rest)
  1. Break up CRAB MEAT into medium shreds about 1 inch long.
  2. Chop ONION fine.
  3. Chop CELERY small.
  4. Cut CUCUMBER into narrow sticks about 1 inch long.
  5. Chop DILL fine.
  6. Squeeze LEMON JUICE.
  7. Mix All Items together gently.
  8. Refrigerate until needed. Some rest time improves it. It can be held refrigerated in a sealed container for several days.
  9. Serve cool (see Serving).
NOTES:
  1. Crab Meat:

      The photo example was made with Artificial Crab Meat, and makes an excellent and affordable party salad. You can use Real Crab Meat if your budget can stand it. For details see our Surimi Products page
  2. Cucumbers:

      If at all possible, use small cucumbers that don't need to be skinned or seeded, such as Persian, Japanese or European. If you have only the standard waxed green blimps, peel them and seed them, then measure out the given weight.
  3. Serving:

      This is a very flexible salad. You can serve it in a bowl, spoon it onto crackers (cut Crab Meat and Cucumbers a bit shorter for this), or use it as filling for Sandwiches or Rolls. All good party strategies.
