Ron Cobb was one of the two true founders of the Chesley Donavan Foundation - from which Musica Donavania is derived. "CD" originally stood for "Cobb Duke Inc.", but was expanded to Chesley Donavan Foundation when others started to join the group.
I met Ron Cobb upon his return from duty in Vietnam, but he never returned to CD meetings. He did attend a couple of Musica Donavania events in October and December of 2000 when he and his wife were visiting from Australia.
