Crashing a Party - 03-16-2025The really interesting part of this is the re-entry into the dream. The conclusion was in deep sleep and not lucid dreaming, no interference from the waking world, no optional conclusions. Also the venue was unusually stable. Begin: Five younger persons, probably in their early 20s, and myself, quit a bit older and possibly wearing a suit, had just managed to bypass security and enter a large private dinner party in a fancy restaurant. The banquet room was very large and crowded. We found a row of chairs along the wall just to the right of the entrance and sat down. I was seated next to a young lady I apparently knew well. After some minutes, I excused myself to do some necessary business outside the restaurant. During this excursion I became awake - not very awake, but awake enough to commit the dream to memory. Then I fell asleep again and returned to the dream. At this time the party was breaking up with everyone leaving. I found that the manger had discovered my companions. He had started a conversation with them and offered to show them the exclusive Club Room. This was a trick. He had lead them to a bare almost empty room, told them they were in trouble, and ordered them to sit on a bench against the wall to the right of the entrance. I had entered the room. The only other thing in the room was a large marimba like instrument, but with several rows of bars of different sizes and tuning. A musician was playing it, the sound transmitted to speakers in the hall. He finished his piece and left. The manger was threatening his captives and said the police would be called and they would be charged with trespassing. He told them it would cost them $200 each for him to drop the charges. I told the manager that this would be a whole lot of trouble for him and for everyone else. I told him I'd front them $100 each, but he had to sit them down and give them a good dinner before they left. His response was "Deal!" I presented a credit card, and it was on. A long table was set up with a white table cloth. The now guests were seated on one side of the table, the manager on the other side. Staff was bringing food left from the party from the kitchen. A couple of the staff sat down next to the manger. I was not seated at the table, but saw that everyone was having a good time, including the manager and staff, and at this point I exited the dream. My awakening from so deep a sleep was slow, which gave me plenty of transition time to commit the dream to memory. |
