Ceremonial Dinner - 12-17-2024
Begin: My memory of this dream fades in rather late in the proceedings so a lot of detail is lost. The setting was in a fairly advanced era with cooking technology of at least Medieval sophistication. A recipe of meat was being prepared, and what was going on seemed somewhat complicated for so simple a recipe with a lot of people involved. As much as I can remember, I think it was to be browned and braised. I was mostly an observer, but I seem to have been involved with the sauce. It was to be a light Asian style sauce, such as used to finish stir fries.
I started slowly becoming aware of my awake self and the dream started to fade. As it was fading my awake self realized this recipe wasn't just dinner, it was for a ceremonial event, and the meat being prepared was human.
