Simple, quick and very tasty! This recipe will also serve well as a side dish for standard American fare serving 4 to 6 depending on how generous you want to be (which may depend on whether you got your shrimp cheap at an ethnic market or from the local super).

NOTES:
  1. Chilis:   Around here we all use Fresnos, but Holland Red or similar are fine. For details see our Chili Page.
  2. Straw Mushrooms:   Weight given is for drained mushrooms. These come in 15 oz net cans holding about 7.4 oz drained and come in two forms, "peeled" and "unpeeled". Use your own preference as to exact quantity and shape. For details see our Straw Mushrooms page.
  3. U.S. measure: t=teaspoon, T=Tablespoon, c=cup, qt=quart, oz=ounce, #=pound, cl=clove in=inch, ar=as required tt=to taste
