Self rising flour is more used in England then here in the US, thus it is less available here - but it's very easy to make.

Flour, all purpose (1)
Baking Powder (2)
Salt
  1. For a smoother product, run the Salt to powder in your spice grinder.
  2. Mix All items together very thoroughly.
  3. Store in an air tight container.
NOTES:
  1. Flour:

      All purpose four, which is called "plain flour" in England.
  2. Baking Powder:

      Common double acting baking powder such as "Clabber Girl" works well. Ingred: cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum sulphate, monocalcium phosphate (other brands may vary).
  3. U.S. measure: t=teaspoon, T=Tablespoon, c=cup, qt=quart, oz=ounce, #=pound, cl=clove in=inch, ar=as required tt=to taste
