Wrong House

Two sequences remembered, and they were closely related although separated by my having been awake enough to make a trip to the bathroom. In the first sequence I was in a casual restaurant area on an upper floor ringing a central opening to the lower floor, as in the Shrine Auditorium or El Mercado. I was sitting at a table examining a run of part of a tax program written in Pascal.

In the second sequence I was getting a printout of a piece of the same program before returning home. This scene is vague, but the printer was very fast, about 200 chars/second, or twice the speed of my fast printer runs at home. I drove up, parked, and got out of the car with my paperwork and said, "whoops, wrong house". I thought I only wished I lived in that one, as it was a very nice looking older house. I walked two places back to my house which was also decent looking but not quite as fancy. I believe both houses were painted light brown, but the other one had a lot of contrasting dark brown trim. The area was a normal older suburban area, flat, and quite green with mature plants and trees.

Arriving at the door, I found a brown paper sack left by (my mother ?) containing some eggs and a couple other items. I opened the door and went in with the sack and my paperwork. I woke up as I was looking in the sack, and unfortunately did not get a good look at the inside of the house. It was, thought, entirely different from my waking house.
