Train Station and Murders

Begin:   I was outside an old fashioned train station, on the track side. This was an out of the way station with only one set of tracks. About 5 (teenagers ?) had just been killed by some organized crime types. They left immediately and I went into the station and talked to a woman there about what to do. The bodies had all been placed in a tiny hopper car, about the size used in mines, but wide enough to fit standard tracks. We discussed the necessity of getting the car, or at least the bodies, off the tracks before the next train came through. Fortunately, it was not due for at least a day.

We had traveled up the tracks a short way and were inside a house the tracks passed through. It was clean and elegant in an old fashioned manner. I thought it must be a real disruption whenever a train came through. There were linen table cloths and glass cases of china, and maybe even a stuffed pheasant. Looking across the small room, opposite the way we had come, there appeared to be a light fabric screen instead of a wall. The woman said to me, "Look, Andrew, do you see what is there?" indicating the direction of the screen. She was quite insistent, and I believe she meant something beyond the screen. I tried, but could not see what she was referring to. Although I sensed something was there, I had no idea what it was. It wasn't nearly substantial enough for me to get a grip on.

I was beginning to wake up, but found I was back at the station and was starting to dig a place to bury the bodies before they began to decay. I hoped I could make it deep, but didn't know how much time I would have, either until the train came, or until I wore out, or until the bodies started rotting.
End.

That the tracks ran through a delicately furnished house, would this indicate they were symbolic rather than real tracks? Only the tooth fairy knows for sure.
