Ranch Scenes

First Sequence:   In this scene I was with several other people in an overgrown area, but clear enough to allow easy passage. There were a few horses around, I think. We found a sandy area with some rocks and low trees around and decided to set up there for the night.

Two people wearing broad brimmed hats (rode up on horses ?) and asked what we were doing there. We explained we were just out camping. The two proved to be the owner of the ranch onto which we had strayed, and his son. The owner did not object to our being there and stayed a bit to talk about what a nice area it was. His son, though, could not stand kerosene fumes, so I had to put out one of the lamps or stoves we had and move it away to a little cave like recess in a nearby embankment.

Second Sequence:   In this sequence I was with a large number of people in a Spanish ranch style building. A lot of food had been cooked and was set out along two tables on opposite sides of the room. I went back for seconds, and particularly wanted a second round of bacon, but started at the table opposite where it was served. I put some food on my plate, and accidently dropped some into a deep pot which still had some red been purée in the bottom. I scooped this out and was about to continue on my way around to the bacon when the dream ended.
