Occult Organization Test

One dream remembered reasonably well. I was filling out an admittance test for an occult society. It was a bit of the Aleister Crowley sort, but a lot cleaner. I objected to some of the questions relating directly to the Hebrew alphabet and numbers, and to the Seperoth of the Kabala. While I knew abut these things, I did not know all the names, because I had not specialized in this knowledge, as one who had studied the course material of this organization would have.

What time limits applied were uncertain. What a passing score would be was uncertain. Most of the questions were to be answered in a sentance or short paragraph and were quite specific, making faking it a bit difficult. The person who had given me the test to fill out was an older gentlemen, bearded, and dressed in a dark gray robe. He had a bit of the Poke Runyon personality. I was uncertain if I was interested in joining the organization or not, but desired a good score just on general principles and maximum options.
End.

2023:   I no longer have a clue what Carroll "Poke" Runyon's personality was like - it is from one of my earlier "past lives", and I've had so many. Apparently I knew him fairly well back in those days, as (Poke Runyon ??) appears in the write-ups of several dreams in this set. He was head of Ordo Templi Astartes (and may still be), an occult organization, and has written many books which I haven't read.
