Huichols

I woke up immediately from the dream titled The Old Man. After setting that dream well, I worked backward into some of the preceding material. Unfortunately there was no time to record any of it in the morning, even though I got up a half hour early - the main dream took too long to record. The earliest fragment remembered included a cartoon strip similar to Peanuts, but the characters were different. One of the characters was named Meredith, and I wondered while looking at it if prior exposure to this strip was were I picked up the name Meredith for the dream of that name, Meredith.

There were two following sequences that mentioned the Huichols, or at least their philosophy and healing methods. In one, some person announced to me that someone was going out on his third mission to teach about the Huichols. I had just been talking about my uncle (Lou ?) and the way he said this it sounded like it was my uncle he was referring to. In disbelief, I asked for clarification. He told me the name of the person, but I do not remember it. In a later sequence I was riding in a car while explaining to someone why the methods of the Huichols were pure, because they used only what actually worked and rejected things that sounded good in theory but didn't actually work. These were the first mention of Huichols in any remembered dream. These fragments seem quite relevant to The Old Man dream which followed.
