Dreams

There were many dreams this night, but I retained a memory of only two.

Begin:   In the first dream, I was engaged in having some custom Christmas cards made for Karen Lynn. They were of gold paper and the outside cover had a photograph of Ron Myron playing a grand piano. The reason this was used on a Christmas card I do not recall. The printer described the dodging he had to do to print the photo properly, which had delayed the completion, but the finished cards were quite successful. The objective was a composition with piano, Ron himself being only a compositional element, and his face wa somewhat obscured by darkness. I turned the cards over to Karen, and told her they turned out well, but it was too bad they were too late. She assured me that Christmas was still five days away and there was still time.

End.

Begin:   In the second dream I was walking outdoors and noticed a baby bird, just able to fly (large, but smaller than a dove when it starts to fly). It took off clumsily at my approach, but I managed to grab it out of the air. It didn't like being caught, but did not panic as much as an adult wild bird would. I spotted another and snagged it too, holding one in each hand. I placed them in a cage with a bowl of water and some seeds. Released into the cage, they didn't seem too frightened and started drinking right away. I have the impression I caught them because I was concerned about their ability to survive under the circumstances. There were scenes before and after this sequence with other people involved, but I do not remember them.

End.
