Get Rich Quick Scheme - 07-19-2023
This dream was long and very detailed, but the detail faded quickly and I can just give an overview of the action.
Begin: I was at a Chamber of Commerce meeting, dressed in business cloths with a tie, just like everyone else. I think I was in my 40s or so. There was a guy sitting at a table with folders representing some kind of promotion. I asked him what it was about, and he handed me a folder.
I looked in the folder but it just had some glossy promotional pages and an application form. The guy told me that for the details I had to see a video.
I went to where I could watch the video on a large screen. It was exactly in the format of many on-line promotions, usually linked from a right wing Web site. It dragged you on and on just like those promotions, promising miracles while you waited for clear explanation of what it was that was being promoted. Those finally end with a pitch for a "extremely valuable" book, or a medication, or some kind of miracle stuff that will either make you rich or cure all your illnesses - but you have to buy it right now to get the special low price.
The whole pitch here was how much money you would make, and how easily, but even at the end it gave no real details of how the program actually worked.
I returned to the desk and dropped the folder on the table. I told the guy, "There's something hidden here - no thank you". I turned away before he could respond and joined the crowd.
There might have been some stuff involving cars after this, but I have
no memory of what it was.
