Committee Treasurer
Only a short part of this dream was remembered waking up in the early morning hours. There was a large but not obese woman with dark shoulder length hair. Her name was Isadora Alt. She was very enthused and determined to be treasurer of the (DNCC ?).
I was suspicious of her enthusiasm, but it was likely she would become
treasurer. I spoke to someone else saying, "Her work should be closely
monitored".
End.
The name Isadora is likely not correct, but close. Upon awakening I recited her name in my mind many times so I would remember it, and also had a mnemonic to help me remember it.
A little later in the morning, I awoke again, and found that both the name and the mnemonic had been thoroughly erased. I struggled hard to bring up the mnemonic, but found it very difficult to bring up. After considerable effort, it finally appeared, "Tristan and Isolda". Unfortunately, this still didn't bring up the lady's exact name.
I got up in the night and went to the computer. I researched girls names to try to find it, but I did not. Also searched Scandinavian and German names. Isador was the closest I found, but I was fairly sure that wasn't it, and that the real name was a little longer, so I am using the name Isadora.
At the time of the dream I knew I knew no woman with her name in waking life, and the only Alt I knew of was J Kenji Lopez-Alt, a food researcher and writer.
Due to being up in the night, I slept until 10am in the morning. Yes it was New Year's Day, but I had been to bed by 11pm at the latest.
