Frustration

As with so many of my dreams, this one featured a whole lot of frustration.

I had attended an event in some public area or building, possibly a park or school.

I headed for my car, but, as so often happens in my dreams, it was not there, and the parking area where it had been was empty. I remembered I had a real hard time finding a parking place, and perhaps had parked in a forbidden spot and the car had been towed away. It was probably the white Volvo station wagon I drive today.

There was a guy there who seemed to be in charge, but he declined to give me any information. He did say it was probably on East Street (or some similar name) but declined to give me any infomration about where that street was, or where on that street the car might be.

I asked a couple of other people, but got no answers.

I headed up the hill to a house I knew of. It was owned by a couple very similar to Jennie Webb and Jim Fowler, but nothing like the house that couple lives in.

The Jennie person was seated in one corner of the living room, and I asked her for help. She said, perhaps in the morning. There was apparently some sort of party starting and people were filling the room. I was hoping to see the Jim person, but he did not appear, or did not come close enough to talk to.

I approached the Jennie person again and was ignored. She was all bundled up in a big furry thing, with only her face showing. I sat uncomfortably on one side. at this point I was not wearing a shirt, but had my Victorian smoking cap on my head. Don't know what happened to the shirt.

I reluctantly decided to leave this dream in an unresolved state, and slowly woke up, at least enough awake to fade out of the dream.
