Smoked Chicken
Smoked Chicken can serve as a snack or appetizer, but also be used
as an ingredient in recipes. The photo specimen was 8-3/4 inches long
by 5 inches high and weighed 1.5 pounds. It was produced by Gurman
Quality Meats in Mondelein IL. Ing: Chicken, water, salt, cane and maple
sugar, sodium phosphate, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite, spice
extracts.

Buying:
The photo specimen was purchased from the
Self Serve Deli cases of a large multi-ethnic market in Los Angeles
(Sunland) for 2018 US $4.69 / pound.
Cooking:
This product is fully cooked and can be cut up
and served without further processing - unless it is called for in a
recipe. The skin is part of the product as is never removed.
Yield:
The 1.5 pound half chicken in the photo yielded
1 pound (75%) when de-boned.
